SERVICES · CROSS-BORDER PLANNING REVIEW

Your move to Georgia, planned in the right order.

For clients moving themselves, their company or their investments to Georgia while managing ties to other countries. We review the Georgian side, identify the cross-border questions to confirm with your advisers abroad, and prepare a practical sequence of next steps. €490, with a written action plan.

Slide 1 of 1: Your move to Georgia, planned in the right order.

What you get#

A planning review for a move that touches Georgia and at least one other country. You leave with a concise written action plan: what to set up in Georgia, in what order, and which questions your advisers abroad need to answer before you act.

The Georgian side, worked through. Which structure fits — Individual Entrepreneur, LLC, Virtual Zone or International Company — whether and how Georgian tax residency applies to you, which bank and account set-up suits your profile, and which residence route is relevant. Where a step needs you in Georgia in person, the plan says so.

The order of decisions. Sequencing matters as much as structure: a company formed before the residence question is settled, a bank application before the documents exist, a home-country departure before the Georgian side is ready. The plan sets out a sensible order for your situation.

The cross-border questions, listed. Leaving one tax system and entering another raises questions that only the other country's law can answer — tax residence tests, possible exit or departure taxes, how a treaty applies, reporting duties. We identify the ones that matter for your move and put them in a checklist for qualified advisers in those countries. We don't advise on foreign law, and we don't calculate foreign tax.

What we do#

Step 1 — Free first consultation. We confirm that your question is a cross-border move rather than a single Georgian decision. If one Georgian question is enough, the Tax Consultation (€290) is the better fit and we say so.

Step 2 — Structured intake. Before the call, we ask for what the plan needs and no more: the countries you live in, pay tax in or hold citizenship of, your business and main assets, your objectives and your intended dates.

Step 3 — Preparation. We assess the Georgian options and how they interact with each other, and note the cross-border points your situation raises.

Step 4 — 60-minute planning discussion. A video call to walk through the proposed route and the order of decisions, and to settle open points with you.

Step 5 — Written action plan. A concise plan with the Georgian-side steps in order, the conditions attached to them, and the checklist of questions for your advisers abroad, each clearly marked as needing confirmation under that country's law. We confirm the delivery timing when we scope the review.

What's included#

  • Free first consultation to confirm fit
  • Structured pre-call intake
  • Georgian-side review: company, tax residence, banking and residency options
  • 60-minute planning discussion by video
  • Concise written action plan with the order of decisions
  • Checklist of cross-border tax and residence questions for your advisers abroad
  • €490 fixed per review

Not included: foreign-country tax or legal opinions, exit-tax calculations, foreign filings, and implementation. If your situation needs more than the defined review — several entities across several countries, for example — we quote the larger scope before doing any further work. Setting up what the plan recommends is priced separately at the usual Company Setup, Banking or Residency rates.

When it fits#

Changing tax residence. You plan to become tax resident in Georgia, or to keep a base elsewhere while running a Georgian structure, and want the Georgian steps and the questions for home in one plan.

Moving a company. You run a business from another country and are deciding whether to form a Georgian entity alongside it, move activity across, or wind the old one down later.

Several countries at once. Citizenship in one country, residence in another, clients or assets in a third — and you need a sensible order before committing to anything.

Why Happy Georgia#

Independent advisory. No tied banks, no referral fees. If the review concludes that the move isn't worth making yet, that's the plan.

Foreign clients only. Our entire practice is foreigners setting up in Georgia. Every engagement starts from your own situation: where you live and pay tax, who your clients are, and what you plan to do in Georgia.

Fixed pricing, no tourist tax. €490 per review, including the written action plan. We quote in EUR, we honor the quote, no surprises later.

Frequently asked questions#

How is this different from Tax Consultation?#

Tax Consultation (€290) answers one focused Georgian question — regime choice, restructuring, distribution timing — with a written summary. The Cross-Border Planning Review covers a whole move: wider intake, the order of decisions across company, tax residence, banking and residency, and a checklist of questions for your advisers abroad. You choose one or the other; you don't need both.

Will you tell me whether I owe exit tax?#

No. Whether a departure or exit tax applies, and how much, depends on the law of the country you're leaving. We flag it as a question where your situation suggests it, so your adviser in that country can assess it before you move.

Can my adviser abroad join?#

You're welcome to share the action plan with them, and we can agree coordination with your adviser as part of the scope when we quote. A joint call is not part of the standard review.

What if I'm already a client?#

Tell us at the free consultation. Where earlier work on the same matter can genuinely be reused, we can reflect that in the quote.

What's the cancellation policy?#

Sessions can be rescheduled in good time before the call. Cancellations follow our Terms of Service: work already performed remains payable, and prepaid fees for work not yet performed are refunded pro rata, less reasonable wind-down costs.

Ready to plan your move?#

Start with a free 30-minute consultation. We confirm whether a Cross-Border Planning Review or a single Tax Consultation fits your question, and quote before any paid work begins.
