Work Residence Permit
Renewable Georgian residence permit grounded by your Individual Entrepreneur economic activity for foreign clients. Article 15(a) pathway. First application filed while you're in Georgia, residence card requested in person, extensions under Power of Attorney.

Government fees for the residence permit, the residence card and, where required, the right to work are paid separately to Georgian authorities and are not included in Happy Georgia fees. Once the first residence card is received, no additional Happy Georgia annual fees.
File the extension between 90 and 40 days before the permit expires (the 40-day limit does not apply to an electronic extension from abroad). We file under Power of Attorney while you are in Georgia; SDA's rules also allow an electronic extension from abroad. Each extension needs a new residence card, and we confirm with you whether it can be requested electronically or has to be requested in person.
Property Residence Permit
Renewable Georgian residence permit grounded by Georgian property worth more than USD 150,000 (threshold in force since 1 March 2026). Property purchase via Power of Attorney; residence permit filed while you're in Georgia, residence card requested in person, yearly extensions under Power of Attorney. No minimum stay requirement.

Investment Residence Permit
Five-year Georgian residence permit grounded by an investment of at least USD 300,000 or Georgian property above USD 300,000. Holders who meet its conditions can then apply for an indefinite residence permit. First application filed while you're in Georgia; residence card requested in person.

Work Permit — Residency Scoping + Application Support
Exemptions under Article 1(4) of the Law on Labour Migration may apply depending on your activity and structure. Our Residency Scoping (€290) assesses which, if any, applies and documents the basis. Where the right to work is needed, we prepare the application file and the interview, and support the filing on the labour migration portal.

The government fee for the right to work is paid separately to the State Employment Support Agency through the labour migration portal and is not included in Happy Georgia fees. The expedited route carries a higher government fee.
When an exemption applies, the €290 Residency Scoping is the entire engagement. Our written assessment is advice; it does not bind the State Employment Support Agency.
The €1,130 full application engagement applies only when Residency Scoping reveals the client is not exempt and the work permit itself is required. Residency Scoping delivered first as a separate engagement; if the client is exempt, the full application is not needed.
